01

Scope and privacy contact

This Privacy Notice applies to Scholar Bank at https://mul.tjren.site/ and its related account, practice, membership and support features.

Privacy questions, access or correction requests, deletion requests and complaints can be sent to Austinliu234@gmail.com.

02

Information we collect

Scholar Bank may collect account identifiers, name or display name, email address, authentication status, account preferences and records needed to keep an account secure.

For learner features, Scholar Bank may collect a learner profile, year-level band, guardian or authorised-adult relationship, practice answers, completion history, timing, progress summaries and saved study preferences.

For paid memberships, Scholar Bank may collect plan, subscription, invoice, payment-status and refund records received from Stripe. Scholar Bank does not need to store a customer's full payment-card number.

Scholar Bank may also collect support messages, privacy requests, consent or authority records, security events, approximate technical information, device or browser information and cookies or similar data needed to operate and protect the service.

03

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, provide practice and progress features, manage memberships, process cancellations and refund requests, respond to support and privacy requests, prevent misuse, diagnose incidents and improve the service.

Scholar Bank may also use information to comply with legal obligations, keep appropriate business and transaction records, enforce the service terms and protect users, the public and the service.

Scholar Bank does not sell personal information. Learner practice results are used for service delivery and study feedback, not as an official scholarship decision or guaranteed prediction.

04

Children, learners and guardians

Scholar Bank is designed for learners who may be under 18. A parent, guardian or other authorised adult should create or manage family membership access and provide any authority or consent required for the learner.

Scholar Bank limits learner information to what is reasonably needed for educational practice, safety, account management and legal obligations. A guardian may contact the privacy channel about a learner's information, subject to identity, authority and safety checks.

05

When information is shared

Scholar Bank may share the minimum necessary information with service providers that support hosting, authentication, communications, security, analytics, customer support and data storage. Stripe processes payment and billing information for paid memberships.

Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law, to respond to legal process, to prevent serious threats or fraud, to investigate security incidents, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Scholar Bank does not disclose learner information to schools or scholarship decision-makers merely because a learner uses the service.

06

Overseas processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. The countries involved can change as provider infrastructure changes.

Scholar Bank takes reasonable steps appropriate to the service and the information to select and configure providers, limit access and require suitable handling of personal information.

07

Retention and deletion

Scholar Bank keeps information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice, including active account use, security, support, dispute resolution, financial records and legal obligations.

A verified deletion request will be assessed and completed where applicable. Some records may need to be retained or de-identified where deletion would conflict with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety or dispute-handling obligations.

08

Access, correction and choices

A person may request access to or correction of personal information held about them. They may also ask for deletion, account closure, consent withdrawal or an explanation of a privacy decision, subject to identity and authority verification and applicable exceptions.

Account and browser controls may provide additional choices for saved data and cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful handling and may mean some optional or account features can no longer be provided.

09

Security and incidents

Scholar Bank uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure transport, restricted operational access and monitoring appropriate to the service.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use secure sign-in methods, protect their account and promptly report suspected unauthorised access to Austinliu234@gmail.com.

10

Privacy complaints

A privacy complaint should describe the concern and the outcome sought. Scholar Bank will review the complaint, may request information needed to verify identity or authority, and will respond within a reasonable period.

If a person is not satisfied with the response, they may have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant regulator.

11

Changes to this notice

Scholar Bank may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. A new version will show its publication date, and material changes will be communicated through a reasonable channel before they take effect where required.
